- Dr. Garrit Jentsch Garrit is the managing director of BAST GmbH. Garrit was awarded a PhD in Neuroscience at the International Max-Planck Research School of the University of Göttingen in 2007. After doing postdoctoral research at Yale University he joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2011. Since then, he has contributed to projects ranging from early target identification to late stage clinical development in various therapeutic areas. He specializes in mathematical modelling and statistical data analysis to enhance success rates in drug development. He has helped clients to successfully file for IND and NDA applications with the FDA and EMA.
- Dr. Pinar Boyraz Jentsch Pinar works as a modeler and scientist at BAST. She has a background in Medical Biology (BSc) and completed her PhD in Neuroscience in 2007 at the International Max-Planck Research School of the University of Göttingen. After postdoc positions in Montreal and Leicester, she joined the pharmaceutical industry as a scientist in 2015. Throughout her career, Pinar has developed numerous pharmacometric models and conducted biometric analyses in a variety of different therapeutic areas.
- Dr. Joachim Grevel: Joachim is the founder of BAST GmbH and acts as a consultant to the Company. Joachim was trained as a pharmacist and pharmacologist (PhD University of Munich 1982) and did postdoctoral research at UCSF and University of Glasgow. He was on the faculty of the University of Texas at Houston and Austin and worked for several pharmaceutical companies (Sandoz, Merck-Serono, AstraZeneca). He founded BAST in 1991 and again in 2010 as a consultancy company.
